Who is Alune?
Riot games have recently released a new champion that you can play as in the game. One thing you should be surprised about though, is that this champion doesn’t just come with one person. Why is that? Well, that’s because the new champion, Aphelios, has another character by his side. Who may that be? That could definitely none other be than Alune, of course, his dear sister. So, this champion is actually a two-in-one, which I personally find really cool and how they incorporated two characters into one champion.
Anyway, before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s ask ourselves first, what is League of Legends? Although you already probably know what it is, let’s still do it. This is also for other people out there who visited this website without knowing what this game is and what it’s about. League of Legends or LOL is pretty much just an online game where you can play with a bunch of other people. You can play in teams or in solos. This game also features more than one hundred and forty champions that you can play as. Today though, let us focus on the new champion Riot games have released and the additional characters the new champion brought with him.
As mentioned earlier, Aphelios is our new champion, which we will focus on today. Let’s talk about the new character he brought with him since we’ve talked about Aphelios before anyway. Alune, which is a part of Aphelios’ character, is actually his sibling, just as I said earlier. These two are a part of an ancient religious order which is called Lunari. The Lunari lived as outcasts due to their worship to the moon. Alune trained to become a seer meanwhile Aphelios trained to become an assassin. These two siblings were basically inseparable.
Sadly though, they did get separated in the end. You may be asking, how come? Well, that’s because, the Solari, the opposite of the Lunari, who praise the moon, the Solari praised the sun. Back to the story, the Lunari, including the two siblings, caught themselves being attacked by the Solari and got separated. Even though it isn’t a very happy ending, Alune is able to fight alongside his brother, Aphelios, and be his support in every battle he encounters. Alune does still continue to train her Lunar powers in order to help her brother, Aphelios.
